
Shihan Mario Mastro
I started martial arts in 1973 and I am in my 44th year. I have been teaching martial arts for 36 years. I trained in American karate and kickboxing, American Kenpo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Uechi Ryu, Traditional Japanese Jiu Jitsu, Okinawan weaponry and Escrima. I have incorporated all of these disciplines into The TAMA System.
I competed in sport karate in the 70s and 80s and now run a successful competition team in the dojo. We have had competitors compete at state, national and world level competitions.
